World News@lemmy.ml•Australia’s most decorated soldier arrested over alleged war crimes
13·5 days agoThe man who exposed his crimes, David McBride, was sentenced to 5 years and 8 months in prison in 2024 for “unlawfully disclosing Commonwealth documents”.
Boy Boy made a video about the situation, just weeks before David was sentenced. You can learn more about the depravity of Australian lackeys of America from it.

World News@lemmy.ml•Enemy media: Iran has fired some 300 missiles at Israel, about half with cluster bomb warheads
0·1 month agoThese are not cluster munitions which are indeed designed to harm as many civilians as possible (one of the favorite tools of the US by the way).
They are missiles which release multiple warheads near the end of their journey, each of which homes in on a separate target, they don’t just explode shrapnel in all directions like cluster bombs do.
Oh shit, I actually missed that he said Iranian New Yorkers. I retract the point about the third paragraph then. The post is not bad actually.
As much as I wish I could agree that he pulled through…
First paragraph: great. If only the post ended here.
Second paragraph: I’m gonna… uhm… increase the coordination with the repressive state apparatus to Increase Safety™.
Third paragraph: Anyways, we as New Yorkers don’t really have to fear any retaliation from Iran, so no worries, you can go back to brunch after you express your dissent on social media.
And don’t get me wrong. It IS a genuine improvement over “Maduro is a dictator” approach to US foreign policy, so critical support is due.

18·3 months agoIncidentally due to the Maduro situation no one paid attention, but Burkina Faso foiled a planned coup literally on the night of January 3rd.
