2084 pixels. I’m very happy with that :)
Thanks for the web app. This is great!
The event was fun for the first 48 hours - before the expansion. After that it was mostly policing and defending existing art. I would prefer a 48 hour canvas without expansion.
That said, it was fun anyways. Thanks for all your work and thanks to grant for setting everything up and fixing issues on the fly.
They should really have a mastodon account for status updates that’s not hosted on their infrastructure.
I guess they’re talking about wordpress.com which is a commercial product, and not wordpress.org which is the foss software.
I’ve asked Gemini for a summary and it’s pretty spot on:
This video is about AI generated videos and how they have become very realistic.
The speaker, Marques Brownlee, discusses a new AI model called Sora that can generate videos from text input. He shows examples of videos generated by Sora, including one of a woman walking down a Tokyo street, a car driving up a mountain road, and a litter of puppies playing in the snow. He points out that these videos are still not perfect, but they are much better than what was possible just a year ago.
He discusses the implications of this technology, both good and bad. On the one hand, it could be used to create fake videos that could be used to deceive people. On the other hand, it could be used to create stock footage that is more affordable and accessible than ever before. Brownlee concludes by saying that this technology is still in its early stages, but it has the potential to change the world in many ways.
I hope their jaw is alright
Jokes on you, I don’t own a car.

adding “to developers” to the title would have saved me a click
When viewing a post, tap the three lines on the top right. That opens a menu for a variety of sorting options.
Same here
Not in Jerboa and not directly in Lemmy. But every user has an rss feed that you could subscribe to. For example, your feed is https://vlemmy.net/feeds/u/wr90.xml?sort=New
Those are active users. The numbers are from fedidb, updated hourly. They are counting posts and comments as activity.
The Threadiverse (Lemmy & kbin) had less than 10k active users before June. Now there’s more than 126k active users. It doesn’t mean that they all left Reddit, but at least that they are active here since Reddit fucked things up.
I just updated and all feeds work flawlessly.
