Any proton alternatives that are in EU and at least are not under the jurisdiction of 5 eyes?
Have a look at Tuta. They don’t have the same breadth of service as Proton or Mailbox, but they’re pretty good and constantly improving. I don’t really understand why they’re not better known.
My only issue is their spam filter is kinda bad.
I’m pretty sure mailbox.org counts right? It’s in Germany

They are based in Germany and thus part of the global surveillance network (14 eyes)
Nord are based in Lithuania. Not sure if they have a shell company elsewhere (like most VPNs do).
There are some Icelandic ones too but I can’t remember the names off the top of my head.
