All the more reason to switch to Firefox (and it’s derivatives) and support open web engines.

It’s hard to understand how anyone who was using uBO on Chrome was unaware this was coming. The Manifest V3 shit started years ago, and I expect uBO users to be more technically literate than the general public.

I think you are underestimating how many people are using ad blockers these days, and from those how many are using uBO. It has been pretty much the default recommendation for many years now for anyone asking the tech savvy person in their family which ad blocker they should use.

The tech-savvy relative should have had them on Firefox long ago. They don’t need a fork. Firefox will do.

Yes! Too much hate for Firefox for imperfections while the chromium-based browsers are so much worse.

Sure use Librewolf or waterfox if you want, but people have to stop poisoning the well that is Firefox. That just pushes people back to chrome and edge.

Chrome? Is that some sort of computer program? I think I remember hearing about that a decade or two ago…

I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who’s ever used it
