South Korean self-determination? Sounds cool, when do they start?

What a flaccid gotcha. Might as well have written “no u”. The DPRK isn’t dependent on China on such a level that if they were to collapse (which, lmao, sure) they’d go with them. You cannot say the same of the RoK, which is still deeply intertwined with the US military industrial complex as well as Wall Street, and derives a lot of its political legitimacy not from popular support (given how many of their former presidents are jailed) but their proximity to the military power still occupying them with so many military bases.

1-A BBC article about China flying planes over a part of the DPRK that Occupied Korea has decided belongs to them

This is like if I decided that your driveway was part of my property, and filed a police report every time you parked your car. Very Israeli. Coincidentally, Western media does this with Taiwan too: Now next time you read a breathless article about “China is flying aircraft through Taiwan’s air defense zone!”, you’ll know that the zone just so happens to extend over mainland China, which these outlets never mention for some reason.

2-A Wikipedia article just titled “China-South Korea relations”

3- an article whose headline is a question

This is very embarassing, even by liberal standards
