232·2 years agoKeep in mind, that he is a mouth for some factions inside russia and his message is mostly for internal consumption. There are motives behind what he speaks. Probably testing the reaction of local population towards this idea. And yes, a person saying that (without someone’s protection or even order) may be easily presecuted under new laws.
3·2 years agoIn the same timeframe, most wages not significantly changed, a big cup of fast noodles went from 20 to 100 roubles, bread 10-15 to 50+, simple 0,5L of bottled water gone 50 from 15. Hoping it would bounce back from 100 to 90-something is kinda ridiculous, especially as these drops were all self-inflicted and it was easy not to cause them in the first place. I don’t understand how you as a brief visitor could observe these dramatic changes in time, but locals around me can’t or don’t have a problem with it.
I’m still wondering if the X-guy was projecting his own tendencies.
The enemy is both weak and strong. Whatever sells the lie better at the time. Inconsistency is on brand.

8·2 years agoThey found that the colors could be removed during the depolymerization process, making the plastics recyclable and more sustainable.
It sounds like an interesting study, but would it affect anything? If something, it further enables plastic production (after a minor PR stunt on making some bottles colorless), while most of it ends up in the landfills after exactly one use mixed with everything else. Production of excessive products is unsustainable, recycling comes after we couldn’t escape it.
They are like an abusive ex promising you everything after a breakup, but slowly undermining your will in general.
And they become a bit more brave since they hope they’d be overshsdowed by others. Like a line of professional cyclers defending each other against the wind coming from the front. If Mask would keep trending with X, many others would not get traction.
It’s a drop in the bucket in that sense, but, what’s a target of this law, yet another win over ‘deranged west’ and it’s agenda.
Most of the time people with gender dysphoria don’t even know what’s that, can hardly find a community, realize they are not cis, start a course of costy tabs, believe they can aquire a legal status from that state – all that with still being there, working, meeting people. It was a surprise to many this loophole existed. And it’s still required a doc confirming you have a mental illness.
Cis men won’t even try that for our right-wing politics and propaganda, they would rather break a leg than that, or just wait it out.
And no, there are a lot of people still availiable for service. Minority of transwomen wouldn’t do any weather. But I’m fucking crumble inside imagining any of them being mobilized into a typical men environment. It’s a death sentence.
Why? Do they enjoy dragging this conflict for more than a year? Is there some reason to why they don’t use some sci-fi orbital blaster?
If you lived there, Ukraine or Russia, doesn’t matter, and have served, you’d knew how deeply you are wrong. Bet you didn’t, and I did. Post-soviet army culture is what makes me suspect they don’t have anything breathtaking you think they have in worthy quantities.
