Since plain http is becoming pretty uncommon nowadays, just use a non-ISP DNS server and you should be pretty safe.

According to this Google accounts for 90% of Chromium code contributions. If Google does not control Chrome anymore, expect them to mostly go away.

Don’t buy ASUS, they have a terrible security record. At this point I would trust only MikroTik and Ubiquiti.
They exist because they reproduce faster than they die. The fact that they are necessary for some other species is irrelavant to their existance. Such a claim only really makes sense for plants and animals that people farm.

I don’t get the downvotes, Apple is religious about avoiding configuration where not absolutely required.

Apple bumps the version number for everything every year nowadays, so not a problem for them.

IME it substantially increased download speeds as well. There’s stuff that I would not have gotten at all without port forwarding.

AFAIK that’s exactly what it does.
I pressed Your Story and it worked just as well.
Love the part where he claims that if your users are authenticated, it’s not untrusted input. I mean, surely you trust all of your users to run any code on your server, right?

Disable this: Settings -> Look and feel -> Show content for collapsed comments

Music streaming is also much cheaper to run than video, so they can offer more reasonable pricing.

I don’t know, add the sites where the content that you want can be found. I think Jackett also had links to the regular web pages if you want to look around.

Was not aware myself, thank you!

I do not use whisparr specifically, but generally for the *arrs you can use jackett to support way more sites. It essentially converts site specific data formats to well known formats that the *arrs support.

I guess it’s for tweeting a lot.

I have run nextcloud:latest on Docker for the last 2 years and have had 0 problems. Maybe upgrading all the time works better than by releases.
No sane person is putting plain JS on the server nowadays, it’s TS by far most of the time.
