This is so awesome. I know this is an old post, but I am just getting started. You’re inspiring me!

I haven’t self-hosted yet, but I’m working on it. Lemmy doesn’t really have any conservative instances, and I don’t want lemmy to become some huge echo chamber. And not just poltical-wise, I feel that more alt points of view should be welcomed.

Great post, OP. Ugh, this makes me want to learn how to do it all. I know it’s not exactly brain surgery, but ugh, so many things I’d have to learn to do it. Maybe after I retire! lol
