01·2 years agoAmerica is better at war. Shock and Awe was effective. War is an atrocity, to be good at it you have to be willing to commit atrocities. If Russia had started out with a similar strategy Ukraine might be an occupied territory of Russia right now. I don’t support any invasion, but if you decide to invade a country you need to hit them hard before they have time to organize their defense. I think Russia had some weird Idea that Ukraians were going to welcome them as liberators. I think this is because the Russian government began to believe their own propaganda. Putin surrounds himself with people who tell him what he wants to hear.
2·2 years agoI’ve been using Bing chat allot. I got the extension that lets me use it on Firefox. It’s insanely useful, and I feel like it’s getting better with time as it learns. I still use DuckDuckGo for search though, although I’ve been using search less and less as Bing chat gets better.
Yeah to get a good ratio you basically need to get a seedbox which cost money anyway. Might as well just use Usenet. I have one private tracker I use I found the best thing to do is seed large obscure tvpacks. Also porn.
That’s the hard part, getting in. You basically have to beg and jump through hoops to get an invite. I’d rather just pay for Usenet, lol.
I’m just sticking with Jerboa I think. It seems to have everything I need. It hasn’t crashed for me in awhile either.

I’ve been using Bluesky. It has gotten a lot busier since Musk did the Nazi Salute
