6 months agohe would have been 97 or so if he were alive today, it really brings home how recent it was.
the civil rights movement happened within my parents’ lifetimes, but it’s so often spoken about as though it were ages ago & completely out of living memory (to both minimise it & pretend that society’s totally different now 💔)
good! hopefully this will discourage everyone who bought them from using them, so they just sit in a drawer somewhere or get recycled instead of spying on unwitting people, and meta will fail to make back the huge amounts of money they’ve invested in tech that most people don’t want 😌
