Even if AI successfully replaces workers, it is doomed to fail. Because if everyone is replaced by AI, who is going to pay for the products/services from the companies anymore? It’s all about being the first one to replace their workers with AI, for short term profit until society collapse.

It’s called T9 typing btw. I’m old enough (30) to have had a few phones with buttons myself before the smartphone era gained momentum. I never got really good at it (didn’t text much). My older sister by a few years is a racer at T9 typing though. I remember her phone was making clicking noises at insane rates.

Unfortunately they don’t ship to norway (or have a norwegian layout available). But would really like one if/when they do. Not in a rush to get a new laptop now though. I’ll keep framework in mind when its time for a new one.

This. It is so sad that these companies get to set arbitrary expiration dates on perfectly good hardware for “security” features nobody asked for. They keep getting away with planned obsolesence and monopolistic moves, by fearmongering about security. Even if the “solutions” does nothing to secure the users. The only thing they care about securing is their profit.
If it is network connected, consider giving it a static IP in the router. I can imagine the computer being confused by the printer having a new IP since last time (can happen with automatic IP), when you try to print something.
I feel like this is about tracking. As in microsoft want the PC to wake up and scan wifi networks to figure out where it is, so they can use this data for targeted ads they serve in the start menu and bing, etc.
I prefer rebasing on destination branch before merging. When merging you get all the conflicts at the same time. When rebasing you can address conflicts from one commit at a time. Untangling multiple small knots is easier than one huge spaghetti. Also commit history will be much cleaner.
Its likely that I wouldn’t use linux today if it weren’t for messing around with compiz settings on school computers back when I was a teenager. Wobbly windows and desktop cube was such fun. That kinda sounds like a bad cable. I’ve had the same issue with both HDMI and DP before and it was solved with a new cable both times 🙂 Display cables are quite hit and miss when it comes to quality.
We have the same/similar regulations in norway as well. I don’t have an e bike, but I guess the speed limit must be annoyingly low. I often pass them on my regular bike in like 30 km/h.

I don’t really care about imessage or icloud. But apple have a much better track record for providing updates for old iphones. Android is quite enshittified these days. Filled with sponsored unremovable apps, abandonware stock rom, and if you try to use something else like lineage os, it is no longer possible to use banking apps etc. Really all iphone need for me to consider it is sideloading apps which is presumably on its way.
EU is the real MVP. Hoping that a few more years now and we’ll have iphone with USB C, app sideloading, user replacable battery. I’ve never owned an iphone before but if that happens, I might consider one.
A) This. We should stop making this a EV thing. It’s a modern car thing. Electric drivetrain in its essence, is a simple and reliable technology. Its everything else surrounding it thats the issue.
