Did they learn the lesson at DOD? Of course not.
Counterpoint: They knew it all along, but didn’t care because the entire point of the MIC is to funnel as much taxpayer money as possible to owners of weapons companies.
Yeah… maybe all the tight-coupling for a 1% better product wasn’t the best decision.
It’s great for the businesses making money, though!
Godspeed to the Houthis.
His last comment contained “and that wellness is hard to measure since society does not allow people to express how they truly feel about things.”
Too true.
Good job enriching the business.

The problem with blocking someone is that other people can still see what that person says.
Censorship is only effective if you can stop other people from seeing the information.
It’s not good enough that a user can hide what other people are saying for themselves; they need to be able to hide it for everyone else.
That’s why you see such a crusade by a certain community to ban anyone who disagrees with their agenda. They don’t want people sharing ideas that go against their beliefs.
Yeah.
There are a lot of people who want to make it illegal to say certain things that challenge their agenda.
It saddens me how people on the left have been convinced that freedom of speech only benefits their adversaries.
You shouldn’t have given them money in the first place.
Did you learn your lesson, or are you going to throw money at another proprietary product while thinking you’re “helping out”?
These paint chip eating overgrown children are so detached from reality it’s not even funny.
Irony.

Yeah, the app is predatory as fuck.
I’m just glad I’m smart enough to realize when I’m seeing predatory design and not assume it’s “how things should be.”
Most people can’t think for themselves and will say whatever makes them fit in with their peers.
I highly doubt they called you a retard.
I’ve never had an issue asking a question on stack overflow.
I’d wager a lot of ‘you people’ that have issues with it probably didn’t do enough research on your own.
That’s strange. It’s almost never my experience on stack overflow.
What you’re describing happens mostly on reddit and lemmy.
It is very refreshing conversing with AI about technical problems.
I notice AI pretty much always knows what I want, even if it can’t give me the correct answer on how to get there.
When asking for helping among ‘you people,’ it’s almost like pulling teeth. It genuinely feels like a lot of you can’t comprehend what you’re reading and blame users for having issues you can’t solve.
With AI, it feels more like I’m talking with a normal person than a lot of the people on the internet.
Yeah, this is a problem with every single platform that becomes successful.
Look at them trying to control the media.
