I have seen such half assed stuff in my career that I am terrified at trusting companies to do this stuff. This is even before the vibe coding. Now that I see how companies mine and others are using AI I am even more concerned than ever.
I just imagine the first places that put in in-door lightnig like “here now you can work later in the day” now they will be like “Oh look you can work 24/7 now it’s never dark anymore”.

I have a vero-V but honestly the apps are lack luster. Its amazing if you have your own library of content. I saw my first homescreen add on roku yesterday. I am pissed.

Okay seriously this technology still baffles me. Like its cool but why invest so much in an unknown like AIs future ? We could invest in people and education and end up with really smart people. For the cost of an education we could end up with smart people who contribute to the economy and society. Instead we are dumping billions into this shit.
And yet you can borrow anything from the local library for free and its considered totally fine and not pirating.
So I’ve never used Microsoft office because I could never afford it. I went from notepad to wordpad to OpenOffice to libreoffice. I’ve never had a single issue even as a professional not using word. I actually really enjoy writing as a hobby and I just don’t get this copiolet thing. Why would I want something to do the thing I like doing? Screw that.
Yeah I think it’s already a lot better even in the short time I’ve been here. You can see the amount of bug reports have increased a lot so that means a lot more people are using the platform.
Thanks I appreciate the feedback. I did my best to make sure I was balanced and tried to solve any issues I ran into. I really hope as things mature things like federation and interoperability between platforms improve. I am happy to see the fediverse get some traction.

I just deleted my account I found that many of the tools to shred my data just didn’t work or maybe they do work and I just did it wrong? But in any case for me I just wanted out so I deleted my account.
