Got a friend with a cabin, and instead of a whole grid they found it simpler to plug their secondhand panels into a battery pack about the size of a car battery that has 110v, 12v, and USB outlets. They charge on the panels at home and it lasts the weekend at the cabin.

Half the time it works for me (Android talking to apples), and the other half of the time the encryption, reactions, etc just don’t work. It’s frustrating.

I would also be sad if AI voices became common in cartoons because it doesn’t give us a chance to hear new interesting voices from creative people. We would just get resurrected old voice actors.

I don’t understand the desire to make humanoid robots. If a human shape is more efficient because of the workflow or physical restrictions, why not just rearrange the production line and use regular robot arms?

That’s great, but I’m sure Taylor (ice cream machine manufacturer) will still void your warranty, and McDonald’s corporate will still tell you you’re required to have Taylor service it. There were blackboxed control bypass devices for these machines that let them run longer and self-clean better, but McDonald’s sent out a memo requiring all franchisees to remove them and only allow Taylor to work on those machines.
