3·2 年前I find it really depends on the brand. I have no idea what the differences really are (or even how it’s made in the first place) but in my experience around half are as you describe and half are delicious

Should you even be using goto? I was taught to avoid it like the plague
Maybe try NAPS2. It saved me a few times, even when the HP apps couldn’t do it
I learned this recently: if you have an iPhone, pressing the lock button five times rapidly will lock it so that you need to enter a passcode, not just FaceID. Useful if you think somebody might forcibly use your face to unlock it
