Yep, mine still lasts 2 days if I push it, though Ive been plonking it on its puck every morning while I get up since I got it at launch, its only ever dropped below 20% a handful of times. Sure ive been charging it more than most, but it doesnt do full battery cycles per charge so its lasted longer

You could also see and interact with other peoples posts ingame, in Super Mario 3D World for example you would see other players avatars on the world map, see their Miiverse posts and interact with them. I’m writing this on a Fairphone 5 right now, the hardware is great, the only slight issue is the USB C Port is a little looser than I would like, not enough for a problem, alas.

The main issue currently is the software, there’s a few well known bugs that cause annoyances that the Fairphone forum widely know about, one of which requires you to hold the power button down and force restart the phone. I am confident that the developers and customer support are aware of these bugs and are working to fix them.

Overall I’m happy with it, £700 isn’t too bad for a phone that I’m going to try to keep for the whole 8 to 10 years that have promised security patches. Sure its doesn’t have flagship specs, but no day to day tasks for me require that power.

Try AntennaPod, seems to have most of the podcasts I listen to, except 2 that are Spotify exclusives.

Said this in a similar post, but the legislation doesnt prevent companies serializing their components, tying them to the software. Preventing completely independent repairs.

I’ve got a 2019 Kidle Oasis, I dont know if it has epub support but I use a piece of software called Calibre which can convert epubs to mobi which I think is Amazon’s proprietary format. Haven’t done it for a while now but I think there’s a problem with book covers now? Not too sure.
