But I could totally cause trouble without any backdoor access.

Lol everyone probably fantasizes about such thing sometimes, but even if you weren’t caught, it’s not worth it to personally be bitter like that.
Just got laid off and could had done the same. Except I don’t have to. Internal systems are so bad and undocumented and I was like only IT specialist there who could use linux, and so many things related to core businesses were just basically behind me.
The kill switch has made it self. Funny how I would have written more documentation if I ever was given the time.

I fear he is now in position to force goverment to buy his shit cars. Cybertrucks for cops etc.

TBH I felt this was bit superficial. No concrete examples, I don’t really think adoption curve outside tech people will be that fast to agents, doesn’t really go into how using agents to manipulate people would significantly differ from using non agent chatbot for same end.
I’m still worried how AI agents could be used to do evil, just that I don’t feel any better informed after reading this.
Curious to hear any thoughts on this.
Same, but apparently android app is no longer supported since google play was too annoying for the developer. So wondering how long I can keep it up.
Probably not too much so his big tech friends can scrape all data they need.

I make an exception for one of the best tech outlets

I don’t really like idea, I can’t see how it could be done in anyway that doesn’t lead to already rich people insider trading it.

Ngl I always hated crypto but this is like best argument for crypto. Wtf I’m even doing at my job, I should be doing something actually important like scramming Elon Musk fans.

Having AI to analyze your turds 300$ and 96$/y

Umm excuse me but if I am awaken by “it’s me Mario” I may have to drop third nuke to Japan targeting just Nintendo headquarters.

My ass probably could appreciate real performance if I was into audiobooks overall, I just like books as books. I’m not exactly happy about all content being replaced with AI slop. However I don’t think spotify cares, if something is cheaper they will go for it, just like other corpos.
Oh well I think they will be losing as well, people don’t even really need the audio book providers anymore, since they could just do AI ebooks themselves if they just have the text ebook.

Audio books are no longer expensive to produce. I bet my ass most except for the biggest titles will be AI generated in very short time. Whether people like it or not.

If someone unironically wore gloves like that I would bully them without hesitation.

It does but when you input error logs it does pretty good job at finding issues. I tried it out first by making game of snake that plays itself. Took some prompting to get all features I wanted but in the end it worked great in no time. After that I decided to try to make distortion VST3 plugin similar to ZVEX Fuzz Factory guitar pedal. It took lot’s of prompting to get out something that actually builds without error I was quickly able to fix those when I copied the error log to the prompt. After that I kept prompting it further eg. “great, now it works but Gate knob doesn’t seem to do anything and knobs are not centered”.
In the end I got perfectly functional distortion plugin. Haven’t compared it to an actual pedal version yet. Not that AI will just replace us all but it can be truly powerful once you go beyond initial answer.
Some fork of youtube-dl would probably do. Personally I use JDownloader 2 (open source) to download not just from youtube but from any other sites as well. It runs locally.
I’m a bit disappointed to the practical uses, but I still get some value out of AI. I sometimes use chatgpt to tweak existing SQL scripts at work, and as a trouble shooting assistant. Also I use this tool ultimate vocal remover to extract stems from songs, mainly to make myself instrumentals to practice singing over. Those are really only things I do regularly, despite trying different self hosted AI tools. Most are cool but not very useful.
Fair but I wouldn’t ever work for weapons manufacturing. Also sabotage in that context would have heavy punishment, and at worst could cause collateral damage.
