The problem is that you don’t own the right to use your own device the way you see fit, and are instead locked into systems you can’t escape from.
You should be able to freely install the software you like, be that an OS, a third party app or even your own program, and you should be able to use all the features of your devices, freely, without being locked out due to the app or accessory not being first party.

The actual reason why Apple, and every other company, doesn’t want to leave the EU (China for that matter) despite increasingly stringent regulations, it’s because the EU represents a huge portion of their revenue and leaving would mean losing billions upon billions, all in the hopes of saving millions.
It’s not only about copying or distribution, but also use and reproduction. I can buy a legit DVD and play it in my own home and all is fine. Then I play it on my bar’s tv, in front of 100 people, and now it’s illegal. I can listen to a song however many times I want, but I can’t use it for anything other than private listening. In theory you should pay even if you want to make a video montage to show at your wedding.
Right now most licenses for copyrighted material specify that you use said material only for personal consumption. To use it for profit you need a special license

Even if the video shows copyrighted material, it still shouldn’t be allowed for Nintendo to claim it, as that would fall under fair use. Just showing a few screenshots of a video game for the purposes of education in an otherwise unrelated video would never fall under copyright infringement.

I can understand if someone like Google or Microsoft employs lawyers directly, as they have the resources and scale to do so. But someone like Telegram should really not do that. Not every app on Linux is compiled for MIPS, or am I wrong? I mean, technically Windows 8 RT could run natively on ARM without problems, except you couldn’t run any apps, which made the whole thing 100% useless.
Unless every app can run natively, you’ll always have to run some sort of translation layer, either in software, hardware or both. That layer will have native performance.

I mean, it’s a 4 core MIPS CPU, tops out at 2.5GHz and apparently compares to an i3 10100F, which is pretty much “reheated Skylake”. This with native code.
It can translate x86 and ARM code in theory, but I can imagine the performance degradation. You can buy this if you want, I know I won’t
Even if the government is funded by money printed by the central bank, it would still be funded with “your money”. Every dollar printed dilutes your money by that same amount, ie it’s like a much more subtle tax that doesn’t follow any of the principles of proportionality, everyone pays the same (except those with little to no liquidity and everything invested, so it’s really a tax on the poor through inflation)
