Unfortunately there are many people who simply don’t care. People got used to apps being crap and many don’t even understand the fundamental concept of using third-party clients.

The other point for me is that reddit has been getting shittier long before the API change. Forcing you to use their crappy app when you just clicked a link on mobile, all this weird avatar and award stuff. The weird chat that got bolted onto their message system, yet keeping the two seperate?
There’s no way I will pay for that.
Works just fine for me. Which device are you on?
My absolute favorite is https://wefwef.app/ . It’s a simple PWA and it feels just as good as a full app and has a better feature set than other clients for iOS.
How do you go back in an app? Do you always tap the button at the top? For me that’s super impractical and I even got a small iPhone.
The AFD’s original goal was to get rid of the Euro and revert back to Germany’s old currency, the Deutsche Mark. The party was more dumb-conservative in the past but since it gained traction, it became more of a right wing extremist party. They’re mostly avoiding breaking any laws which is why the party still exists.
That being said, they’re already being investigated on the basis of violating the constitution and they might be outlawed at one point.
I’m really not a fan of the lemmy / kbin web UIs but I recently installed wefwef.app as a PWA and I really like it.
I don’t have it installed right now but I’m pretty sure the system-wide back-swipe gesture still work here, doesn’t it?
Unfortunately it’s not that easy. Nintendo for example makes many games that use features that are exclusive to their console and porting them over to other consoles would make them so so much worse. Not all games are portable to anything.
Quite effective, I finally used Power Delete Suite.
Nice! Can’t wait to pay 40$ next year for that access.
Seriously though, it’s a great feature and I hope it stays.
