And really you’re just paying extra for the original 1080 bitrate. What a fucking scam, like I’d pay for that crap.

Not judging your tastes, as I personally enjoy this type of movie as well, but a basic-ass action flick sequel that is nothing but a thinly veiled military propaganda piece with the bare minimum amount of plot needed to glue together a bunch of cool action sequences is your bar for “good enough to see in theaters”, yet you claim you haven’t gone in 3 years because the new movies aren’t any good anymore?
Something isn’t adding up here…
Might as well ignore all attainable goals that would benefit society in the short term in favor of sci-fi pipe dreams that are perpetually delayed as we endlessly run into stumbling blocks.
Forget solar/wind/geothermal/etc. development as well, fusion power could happen any day now so why bother with any of that comparatively inefficient junk?
What’s the exchange rate of Discord Orbs to Stanley Nickels?
Discord is already prepping for an IPO so why bother putting any energy into moving off Reddit, finding, and getting involved with communities on there when it’s going to be yet another shit show in fairly short order?
Lol, OK Plex, cya.
They’re honestly lucky I was willing to pay the $2.99 or whatever it was to be able to access MY server, using MY internet and cell data, to access MY media files from MY phone. Plenty fair a price for a nice app, might’ve paid a few bucks more but they can screw off trying to charge a monthly fee for… nothing in particular in my usage case.
Literally just set up Jellyfin w/ Tailscale which took all of 10 minutes and works just as well. GG no re 🖕
Same, I was under the impression that this was fairly common knowledge, but it’s good to have it openly announced by some authority on the matter.
Smart Audiobook Player has been my go-to for a couple years now. Free version is pretty feature complete, good performance too. I’ll listen all day at work and still be at like 70-80% battery on my old ass phone, whereas the shitty audible app will leave me at like 40% or less with minimal interaction.
qbit on pc, flud on android
Funny enough, Hulu has been doing a paid+ads tier from the get-go, long before other services started jumping on this bandwagon.
Never made sense to me why anyone would want it then, and it still doesn’t make sense even now that all the services are offering similar plans. People pining for that cable TV experience maybe?
He’s just a boy with a dream.
