What innovations are lacking specifically? I dont know of any features unique to Chinese brands. It seems more like you think every company should only be selling EVs for dirt cheap prices, but that isn’t realistic becausw those aren’t real prices and EVs aren’t yet practical for everyone which is why they make up such a small percentage of sales here still (though this number climbs with each quarter).

I have a hard time believing this story. The woman claims she brought her friend in on a guest pass but then when there’s an issue, that friend’s husband appears in the story out of nowhere and happend to be there working out at the exact same time under his own membership? The claimed over-the-top responses by the manager and the fact that she then deleted her post makes this all very fishy.

If these safeguards are anything like their other safeguards, their plan will be to wait for something bad to happen and then publicly comment that “this bad thing shouldn’t be happening” before going back to waiting for the next bad thing to happen.

I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re just starting out and using private trackers as you’re sure to go over your ratio limit. Public trackers are fine with the arrs but build some ratio before you try to use them on private ones.

Here’s one example although the cops lived. I do recall at least one or two other stories but can’t find them on Google and wouldn’t be surprised to learn they were buried intentionally. I thought one was in CO or somewhere in the Midwest from several years ago where a man shot a few cops who were at the wrong address.

Flocks only part in this abomination was that it alerted police after scanning the plate. If the cop had entered the plate manually, the outcome would have been the same.

I’ve seen other examples of this in bodycam videos from Georgia on YouTube where Flock wasn’t involved at all. The cops claimed that they only go by what their computers say regardless of whether the person has proof of insurance on hand. In one notable example, a cop stopped an elderly couple at around midnight for the same reason, ignored their proof of insurance, and left them stranded on the side of the road after towing their car. The husband was disabled and couldn’t walk.

We were recently forced to take AI training at work and this was exactly one of the training scenarios used, a financial analyst who needs to send a report to the CFO could just dump all the documents into Gemini and send the output out so that they didnt have to spend any time actually reading the corporate financial reports. I was horrified when I heard it but apparently we’re all supposed to have faith in our new AI overlords and put the pedal to the metal accelerating toward iur own demise.

They also did this when they removed port forwarding. I was expecting at least a couple hoops to jump through but they did it immediately upon request.

My theory is that either its from people deleting associated files like .srt and .txt or companies intentionally sabotaging torrents so that it looks like they’re being seeded still but not fully.

The US auto industry is so much more vast than US companies. We only have a few remaining ones, but everyone pretends like American brands are all that exist here in discussions like this.

So far ahead in what way? We’re talking about powering electric motors not building pico-scale computer processors. The difficult advancements in EVs is with the battery technology and battery technology is not specific to EVs themselves. We’ve been building cars for over a hundred years at this point so the rest of the car building process is already well established here.

Thats because people only vote for one of two parties therefore neither party needs to do anything to secure their votes. All they have to do is convince you that the other party is/would be worse rather than actually doing things that benefit people or have a real impact.
