Let’s be real , this is apple that we are speaking about… The won’t add a fckin fingerprint scanner on you phone along side the face unlock, will shove through your throats the bugged Vibecoded slop of an os that ios liquid glass is with an eternity of bugs and also the Latest Mac OS Golden Gate, WIL NOT allow you to side load apps or even install one unless they are pain, Will take a fortune of your wallets to even give u a developer certification for the IOS softwares and MOST funny thing of ALL , WILL skip any major updates on hardware let alone their sloppy software after an entire goddarm years wait instead wasting time and revenue over some trivial sht as this patent.

The entire idea of this closed source nature needs to be overcome, don’t think I am some android fan guy as i criticize their latest acts as well , they are following apple as well in their footsteps… At this point…the only thing which I loved the most important thing of Apple, ecosystem integration along with fine tuned software seems to be vanishing…WHY would someone even consider them now? Reason: no one else comes close to them yet … despite all these factors nothing comes close to them…MacOS bs linux isn’t a question yet … because sadly again arm systems of Linux are vastly in development…and their is no perfect widescale foss alternative to ios yet…

But one day we will outgrow them …WE WILL

Glad you asked because it was not enough for me…let me give you 3 important reasons:

1. Gnome wellbeing doesn’t have per app limits enforcer and per app usage
2. focus mode (with pomodoro upcoming in next version u can check beta) not present which locks out selected apps like android
3. this aims to be a digital wellbeing application integrating all android features + more in the long run, so in the next few years or so with the help of the community i aim to make it into full fledged digital wellbeing with parental controls etc and also extend to othe DEs like kde etc
