IPO before the bubble burst for the worlds biggest rug pull.
OpenAI will not make it in time before the bubble bursts and they are forced to sell the fElon Mush.

$80 billion… so far -Homer Simpson
If the investors clasp their hands together and believe then it makes it so.
My money is not going anywhere near these scam artists.
Unfortunately, it’s difficult to see how anybody can be insulated from the inevitable economic consequences of fraud of this stupendous magnitude. We’re all going to pay, one way or the other.
But with that said, I’m glad to hear it. Keep up the good work.
The key to insulation is have less.
Organisms in the wild don’t out last their oponnents by expending energy better or being bigger, stronger. They win by being harder to kill, needing less.
Buy less, own less, need less. Got a big house? Sell it. Got two cars? Fuck you, sell both, buy a beater.
My family has cash, a shack, and enough liquidity and explosives to last a year.
Yeah, true. Maybe follow that up with converting some of that cash into dry and canned goods and some upgrades to the shack though. Can’t eat money, and if this gets bad enough, the only thing bills will be good for is a substitute for toilet paper or insulation for the shack.
Buddy of mine and I are looking at some land in the Appalachians. Here’s hoping that will be enough.
Either way, good luck to you and yours.
Is there any way to prevent one’s 401k from investing in specific companies? Ours is with Charles Schwab, I need to look into it more.
I choose medical stocks to invest in. They use AI but not directly investing in AI.
And I’m sure it’s going to be an absurdly high number because it’s all a scam.
And the media is 100% to blame. “Key test for AI” sounds like if the IPO happens there is proof everybody should invest on AI.
The secondary market is charging about $86 a share at the moment. Largely due to the 10:1 split last month.
So like what happens if people just don’t but the stocks
Won’t happen due to index funds. If they get approval to be publically listed, a bunch of index funds, as a condition of the financial security package they’re selling, will be forced to buy stock to keep their index aligned with the overall market positioning.
It’s basically the Space X scam all over again with the large brokerages in on it knowing that it’s primarily consumer investors who dropped money into these index funds. The intention is to keep adding a bunch of shitty companies to the market so that the actual big name traders can use it to siphon off the huge glut of wealth in those index funds into their wallet by selling shares at massively overpriced values that they know won’t hold up.
It’s more than SpaceX and Anthropic. The entire market is financial mutually assured destruction. Anyone who has any sort of invested savings pretty much relies on the index funds in some way. If we eat the rich, we don’t get to walk away happy with full bellies. We’re going down with them.
Most of the stocks in an IPO are purchased by investment firms or large corporations - so it’s extremely uncommon to have no willing buyers.
The IPO price usually also allows for a pretty decent discount on the projected valuation. So, those big investors are looking to get in early and get as cheap as they can. So for something like this, there will be buyers.
That said, entertaining the hypothetical where no one buys: the IPO is likely canceled, in the most hilarious embarrassment in a good while on the market. If just a fraction of the expected shares were sold, they may be subject to a mandatory refund. Then the company can regroup and try again later, or just take the embarrassment and go.
