          security against remote hacking, privacy to use randomized bluetooth MAC address and maybe even disable bluetooth, safety to turn off more gracefully when something malfunctions. some scooters keep the engine running if the throttle is pressed when the head unit reboots

      Not this model, but the author mentioned another that had configurable speed limits so it might work for that one
