      Kagi gets their results from corporate indexes.
      They check all the indexes everywhere more or less.

      Kagi’s real difference is in not being an ad platform, like DDG and nearly every other search provider is.

        While DDG does show “ads” by default. They can be turned off in settings. DDG does still give the user the power of how they want to use/support them.

        All of the AI features can be turned off as well or by using noai.duckduckgo.com

      Everyone gets their results from corporate indexes. If they didn’t they’d be fucked, b/c most sites disallow scrapers that aren’t Google/Bing/Yahoo/etc.
