WordPress Executive Director Mary Hubbard confirmed Mullenweg’s return to the CEO role in a Friday post on X, which the official WordPress account shared and Mullenweg reposted.
I’m aware of the point, but I wanted to point out that the Nazi comparison doesn’t work. Whether it warrants hoping for his death is a separate question, but there’s a qualitative difference between voluntary asshattery and persecuting people for things outside their control and regardless of the harm they do.
