I just want to know if the games any good. I really enjoyed Horizon 5.
We won’t really know until early reviews start pouring in, but judging by the previews, it’s mildly improved, which is par for the course for a FH game. Biggest change is the map, which seems to be vastly better than FH5’s mexico. There’s some new customization such as the garage and domain or whatever it’s called, and also some new interesting ( to me ) game modes like touge and spec racing. What I have mixed feelings about is the car list. There’s about 100 new ones, and some are really awesome additions, but most seem to be FE cars, time-attack cars and other racing variants of existing models. It’ll probably catch up but as of now it’s almost 300 cars short of FH5’s list.
From what I have seen, nothing from the cracked version, it should be an improvement upon FH5.
Good list of cars, with some interesting stuff, and a rework of the class system(well R class being added compressing the other classes, so rework might be over selling it)
A way more interesting map, Mexico kinda sucked, but the rally map was great and Japan seems to be a much needed improvement.
Progression has returned to the campaign, and you have more to work towards. You aren’t the superstar of the festival this time.
The other improvements that I am exited for are the open world drag races and time attack tracks. As well as the Spec races, and removal of a bunch of FOMO from the seasonal playlists
Crackers
Isn’t that a slur?
“Pass the crackers, cracker.”
I feel offended. It’s racist :D
Not originally, but some people started using a perfectly normal word as a slur.
It happens a lot. The word bitch was also a completely normal word for a female dog.
Probably many examples if anyone cares enough to find them.
That was more serious of a reply than I was expecting
Hehe. :) Well its interesting to think about language. And how words are connected with certain emotions. We make noises with our mouths or write letters with our fingers, and that can create massive reactions in other people.
I mean it’s been a slur for a few centuries, even though the exact meaning changed to mean what it does… also a few centuries ago at this point. 19th century IIRC (cracker = someone who cracks a whip = white person).
But also it’s pretty easy to tell from context that cracker here doesn’t mean “white people”. Similarly to how when you calculate a slope in math you don’t usually associate it with the slur.
Thought it referred to southerners so poor they had to eat cracked corn like livestock
Yeah, context is very important, and also ability to see through propaganda and brainwashing.
The title reads like i’m supposed to feel bad for Microslop… i never have and never will, eat shit and burn in hell Microslop.
I don’t think you need to crack unencrypted files
The game shipped with Steam DRM (most Steam games do) and Arxan protection, which was promptly cracked by piracy group DenuvOwO.
Did they actually do anything beyond using goldberg fork? Haven’t heard that “DenuvOwO” ever did anything special, I mean, they even have a Discord server
Thank you for informing my uninformed ass.
You would need to crack any security checks though that validate the install.
I’ve heard that some of those bad illegal streaming sites already have movies when they aren’t even available in legal streaming yet.
I’ve been contemplating whether it’s worth it to pirate project hail Mary to show to friends n stuff or if I should just wait for streaming. I saw it in theaters and loved it tho
Yeah they are just so evil bad and aweful, too bad I don’t know their names so I could actively avoid them. If only some good Samaritan would help me find my way to avoiding those.
pretty sure I was watching Jason X about 9 months before it even hit theaters… streaming platforms didn’t even exist then
The difference is a movie doesn’t communicate with the studio’s computers every time you watch it…
Like, this happened so fast, that everyone that was signed on was either a whitelisted review account, or a pirate.
It was/is incredibly easy for them to “hardware ban” everyone who pirated the game already, what’s really fucked is a nonzero amount of people pirating it, have already paid for a legit copy. And may have thought using a new steam account would be fine, then got their whole PC/console banned.
Like, there’s a good amount of people with no critical thinking who just lost the entire 3-5 year life cycle of a game they’d legitimately paid for already. If they want to play the game, they need to dive deeper into piracy or get a new PC/console.
It’s a fucking shitshow.
But anyways, people shouldn’t conflate downloading a movie to downloading a game. There’s a lot more consequences to downloading a game, especially if it can do multiplayer.
After the game releases tho…
Yeah, I had already heard that the way Forza works pirates can use multiplayer and are indistinguishable from paying players. Which is why with how rare that is and how rare this pre-release crack is…
I wouldn’t be surprised if this was intentional to weed out a bunch of people who were planning on pirating asap.
The only way pirates could be picked out, was seeing if they were dumb enough to show up early enough to stand out. Pirate it on the 21st, and I think you’re just good for life… (Assuming you keep updating your cracked copy)
Hell yeah
