It has Intimidate as well and decent IVs so I have taken full advantage and properly EV trained it with 252/252/4 attack/speed/special defence.

I had planned to use Snorlax or Clefairy for my normal type (fairy type isn’t in gen 3) but this catch was too perfect to pass up.

I haven’t finalised Tauros moveset yet but with Strength it one shots nearly anything that doesn’t resist it at equal level - obviously not in pvp but it would be solid there too.

This Tauros might just be the team MVP by the end of the run.

I missed that part, Adamant reduces Special Attack by 10% and raises Attack by 10%.

This is ideal as Tauros already has a very high Attack and the best moves it learns are Physical, which go off the Attack stat, as opposed to Special type attacks which use Special Attack.

There is a 4% chance to catch a Pokemon with a given nature like Adamant, and Tauros is already rather rare and annoying to catch.

So having my first Tauros have a perfect (or as perfect as possible before breeding for perfect IVs) setup is just really lucky.
