They don’t want to have to relearn where everything is. That being said, I set my mom up with Mint because I didn’t want to have to support Zorin.

Most modern distros have the same level of convenience as Zorin. I don’t know where you got this idea that Zorin is somehow special.
For a lot of users, the fact that it has the windows theme is what makes it special. They don’t want to have to relearn where everything is.
That being said, I set my mom up with Mint because I didn’t want to have to support Zorin.
