minus-squarespookedintownsville@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·2 years agoI know that hybrids like the Prius (at least the older ones) use the inverter to charge the 12v battery with the EV battery to make the ICE beltless (no AC compressor, alternator, etc driven by the ICE) which is supposed to increase fuel efficiency.
