I run it on my router so I can put as many devices as I want on the vpn. I need a wireguard config file for that use-case.

I’m a Mullvad user and was curious about trying Nym because of the payment model. No wireguard config might be a dealbreaker though.

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft is endorsing the use of personal Copilot in workplaces, frustrating IT adminsEnglish
25·1 month agoCopilot is disabled by default in my company. And there’s literally a new policy/guideline about the use of AI/LLM in the workplace being released every month because of how rapid changes are happening. Not that employees aren’t allowed to use them at all, but are restricted in what they are allowed to use.

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft mandates a return to office, 3 days per weekEnglish
18·2 months agoIt’s not about having zero benefits in the office, it’s about giving people the choice to do what works for them. Some people like working in the office, then go ahead. Some people prefer to work at home, let them. The problem is companies forcing everyone to do one thing when everyone works differently.
I’m fully remote but I voluntarily go to the office once a week (as much as possible) primarily to socialize with coworkers and maybe do some in-person meetings if the timing is right. I would hate it if I was mandated to go once a week, because I prefer the flexibility.

16·2 months agoworking a drive thru is actually quite complex and difficult
Especially in the US where you can customize and substitute almost everything in your order. If it was a simple fixed menu where you can’t really do anything else but pick whatever is listed, maybe AI can somewhat work.

6·3 months agoI just bought a Mammotion robot mower 2 months ago. It’s been working well and I only have minor complaints. I definitely would’ve looked into this if I hadn’t gotten my mower yet. Note that so far the author can only guarantee it works on only one model, the one they tested it on.

6·4 months agoYeah, I’m all against social media surveillance, but this was on the jumbotron at a concert. Having said that, I do hate those segments in concerts and sports where they feature audiences on the screens without consent. It’s not like there’s a line in the customer agreement when buying tickets that you allow your face to be featured (unless there is?). That’s why I always make myself as boring as possible - either just sitting with a straight face, or eating something - so I don’t get singled out.

6·4 months agoBased on the article, the youtuber and an accomplice who knew an Apple employee accessed the employee’s phone while it was unattended, so technically it wasn’t intentional and more negligence. On the other hand, Apple also claims the employee failed to report previous breaches, so maybe this was the final straw.
