While I think your comment is over simplifying the issue, there is strangely little mention that people’s animosity toward Musk are responsible for the downturn. Tesla used to be almost the only premium EV available, now there are significant numbers of competitors.

Additionally, there are too many people with similar views to him in Europe to consider it purely a revolt against him
