From my dealings with Indian govt, more likely they’ll abandon it at some point. But yes trusting a government is always a difficult task.

What governments should be requiring is, making bootloader unlockable and making firmware for all antennas, camera and buttons public. Realistically I think it’s too much to hope from any government.
That being said this Sanchar Sarthi app doesn’t look so bad at a glance. Looks like a okay ish attempt at giving population tools to fight identity theft and phishing/scamming with some questionable success. Also the app supposedly doesn’t collect any data.

Yeah tell that to my sister, who wants 4k for her laptop simply because she’s heard 4k is better 4 times 1080p, she’s buying a 13 inch.
Small numbers are just not sufficient for some people. I know if I send this article to her, I’ll be questioned “why do you not want me to see happy?”. So instead I just watch my nephews collage fund contribution shrink.
Sorry it became a rant of family tech guy.

That overhauled UI is buggy as shit, slow to do anything and is objectively worse as features that were already present were removed.
Feature removal might e been excused if the UI was simplified and fast and responsive. But slow and buggy UI to replace relatively well functioning UI angered almost all users. I’m had to force install an old version of plex client exactly to avoid the non-sense.

You do realise, these people are going there willingly, it’s the same people that go to work in cruel conditions to build stadium for Qatar world cup. For a lot of those people it’s just an opportunity to earn, and secure better future. It’s not something that government is encouraging.
Minimum wage in Israel is around 1800 USD a month, average income in India is around 3500 USD, so an Indian worker can work two months and make the same money they’d do in India for a whole year. So they’ll just go to any country that has higher wages and doesn’t restrict their entry.

Tesla owners might/might not be 99%, most tesla owners I know are if not in top 1% definitely in top 5%, edge of top 5% isn’t crazy rich compared to the other 95%.
That being said most developed places like Germany, these cars must be insured there is a good chance that other than some trouble of going without a car for a short while, Most of the damage is stock of tesla as mor e people would be afraid of buying them.

For now I’m just ignoring, but it would be nice if I could systematically block these type of things. You know I interact so little, I’d rather just turn dms off.

I am fairly sure it’s GitS, but I could be wrong
I’m sure, I was pointing out why even as a customer you should be mad
The reason so many people are mad is sometimes the suit guy even comes back saying, sorry man didn’t find a discount, but here is your slip. Meanwhile he has changed the slip and added his name and would get the commission without doing anything.

Missing article was here It didn’t contain much other than dates it was filed and plaintiffs information. Which is a standard practice anywhere.
In July 2024, ANI filed a lawsuit against Wikimedia Foundation in the Delhi High Court — claiming to have been defamed in its article on Wikipedia — and sought ₹2 crore (US$240,000) in damages.[14][15][16] At the time of the suit’s filing, the Wikipedia article about ANI said the news agency had, “been accused of having served as a propaganda tool for the incumbent central government, distributing materials from a vast network of fake news websites, and misreporting events on multiple occasions”. The filing accused Wikipedia of publishing, “false and defamatory content with the malicious intent of tarnishing the news agency’s reputation, and aimed to discredit its goodwill”.[17][14][18][19]
The article is still up, Wikipedia calling ANI biased, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_News_International
So not really sure, why the massive outrage. Removing intricate details from ongoing lawsuits is standard practice.
While the lawsuit by ANI demands that editors who made the edit claiming ANI as govt mouth piece be identified, Wikipedia hasn’t done it yet and the article is right about setting a dangerous precedent if high court forces Wikipedia to reveal the names. But at the same time article is biased and has misleading information such as > In an unprecedented move, Wikipedia removed the page from its platform on October 21.>
You can see some well noted examples of articles being removed before from Wikipedia here . So there is clearly precedent for removal of articles. I used love vox a decade ago, but now I see these half truths/partial stories are a commonplace and I’m happy to have ditched vox now.

Probably more like, scamming centers are mostly focused on foreigners (from Indian pov), so that’s ok.

Wanted a game, back then wasn’t available in my country unless I travelled 3 hours to a city that had one store that had the game, also was too expensive and no way I would’ve convinced parents to spend it on game. Shores of high sea are always at your doorstep.

At least for games, I check how big is the dev team, anything bigger than 30 then pirate Then I check if owner of the development studio is public company, if yes then pirate Then I check if owner owns more than one development studio, if yes then pirate Then I check how many games studio has released, if more than 10, pirate Then I check how many copies have been sold on steam, more than 1m, pirate
If a game dev team fails all above checks, I will still pirate first, but if i enjoy pirated copy, I’ll buy the game to support the dev.

Agreed, also the .part file can be played in VLC as well, it’s the same thing as copy pasting the link in VLC though, but this way you can keep the file.

To answer your question in short , is it safely possible? No.
From your replies it seems your ISP is active against piracy. If budget is tight I recommend, use seedr.cc it gives you 2gb free and it torrents on your behalf, so you’re legally safe. Also you can extend seedr.cc to 4gb as WELL without paying. Dm me if you want to know how.
I know it’s not enough for big games and stuff, but most TV shows and movies you can find decent 1080p rips within that.
Anything else will require some investment/cost.

Considering how strict he is, doubt they’re getting out of prison soon.

I think these days that’s the rule, if it piques your interest but you have some trouble understanding headline, you may just click on the article

I mean i get your argument, but super-critical plants can only serve baseload, they need 48 hours to prime and can generally not operate below 50% capacity, they do yield very high efficiency though.
But I’m not sure where this discussion is going.
I love it. You + lag what’s not to love but you look deeper and it sounds like gulag and then you love it even more because despite trying to escape from YouTube for almost a decade in still stuck in the youtube gulag. So I love youlag even more.
