If CCTV camera feed didn’t stop all crime, AI won’t be able to stop it either. Crime is inevitable and people will do it, regardless of whether they’re on camera or not, or whether they’re being monitored.
I mean like 89% of the shit on Reddit is some OF model advertising.

Personally, I think it depends. For me, I like to pirate games that there’s no way for me to legally buy a copy of and if possible are way too overpriced. Think multi hundred dollar retro games.
For media, I would absolutely support buying used media second hand. New physical releases tend to be worse than they were in the past in my opinion, so second hand or piracy feels like a good enough deal to me.
For music, I’d rather have physical CDs, if possible, rather than paying for streaming because I at least either support a local business I like to go to for CDs or support the artist directly. Laws be damned, I’d rather pirate music than give my money to the companies who financially abuse artists. Similar reason why almost all my CDs are second hand.
For stuff I have legally purchased, if need be I can just pirate them if it’s a digital product. Otherwise I can back up disc based media I have. No idea how to do it for the Sega Genesis cartridges I have, though, so if need be I can pirate those as well.
Edit:
For games, I pirate games I don’t own. For digital games I could find on Steam, I use it as a sort of demo for the game because majority of games don’t have a demo and I need one to ensure I’m not throwing my money down the drain.
There have been plenty of games I’ve bought because the “demo” was enough to make me wanna buy the game to support the devs. Latest example being Dungeon Clawlers.
Oh boy! Can’t wait to play against that AI and win because it keeps trying to get their pawns to promote instead of using any other pieces!

The cloudfare issue is currently the biggest reason I cannot recommend base Firefox to anyone. Maybe it’s a me thing, but no amount of turning extensions on or off was able to fix it on my end
I can at least confirm, though, that the forked Mullvad browser is able to get around this issue, but I can’t speak for any other forks.
I mean, I feel like just shutting it down would solve at least some problems. Shuttering it all, video sharing platforms included.
Not a situation most anyone would agree on, but it’s an idea.
Have an adult handle the account. Simple as. They set it up and manage the account to ensure their kids privacy to as much of a degree as they can.
Well, since music is out of the question, it’s always possible to do things like finding old games you like online through places like MyAbandonware and attempting to burn them to a CD/DVD and seeing if they work. Not as convenient as just using something like DOSBox, but definitely rewarding in my opinion.
Regardless of whether or not it’s truly happening, can you say “Dystopia”?
Regardless of what country does it, I will absolutely call every country that replaces all humans with robo workers for mundane jobs like that dystopian.
Perfect use for that old “This Person Doesn’t Exist” website.
This is definitely a time I will 100% gladly gatekeep anime. If gen “AI” is used I will 100% say anyone “working” on it isn’t part of that industry and is nothing but a pathetic loser not worthy of a job in any real anime company.
Similar sentiments to short form anime. Also towards people who watch either.
I’ll stick with what I’ll be calling real anime if that future becomes the new normal.
Old man screaming at the cloud in the sky and in the server.
From what I’ve heard, it’s nothing but over glorified TTS that strips all form of actual emotion in the voice of whoever is speaking.
I’ll gladly take even the most worst singing done by a born deaf 5 year old before I start intentionally listening to fully AI generated music.
So I must be one of the biggest nobody’s out there.
I noticed this too when I tried going to the website on both ungoogled chromium and TOR. Every single click would lead to a porn site that was most likely filled with 300 pieces of malware per pixel. Was absolutely a terrible experience going to that website without a functional adblock like ublock origin.
I absolutely hate cloudflare because they always block me whenever I visit a site while connected to any VPN server on Proton, regardless of country. Even when I’m not connected to a VPN I sometimes have trouble with them deciding my connection is suspicious despite not having anything that should trigger it.
Pretty sure Elon was emeralds instead of uranium. Probably blood emeralds, but emeralds all the same.
