Oh yes, Jeffrey Sachs, who’s 2023 hot take on the Ukraine war so appallingly inaccurate that 340 of his economist colleagues wrote an open letter condemning him for it. They stated:

Your interventions present a distorted picture of the origins and intentions of the Russian invasion, mix facts and subjective interpretations, and propagate the Kremlin’s narratives.

When your world news comes from youtube, chances are you are getting the wool pulled over your eyes.

I remember the Ukraine Association agreement. My EU country held a referendum over it and voted against that. The agreement included sending military aid to Ukraine, which should have nothing to do with the EU, since EU defense is non-existent and only done individually or through NATO. But I believed this was pushed by the UK, who kept seeing the EU as a tool for NATO expansion.

Being unpopular doesn’t make it inaccurate. Especially in the land of complete idiots and corporate puppets that is the US.

      Also:

Let us set the record straight on the historical events from 2013-2014, at which you hint in the aforementioned misinformative statements: The Euromaidan had nothing to do with NATO, nor the US.

Lmao. It had nothing to do with the US, it only had warhawk McCain in the ground with Sbovoda and Victoria Nuland talking about how the US was controlling the fucking thing. Nothing to do with the US, it’s just by coincidence that they’re saying Ukraine will collapse within hours of the US pulling out.

I encourage everyone to at least read his wikipedia page. Judge for yourself if someone with his experience might have something of substance to say.

This might be the greatest document of pro-Ukrainians-to-the-front talking points ever.
